This term we are learning about huts. Today we created our own imaginary dream hut on Explain Everything.
In Tia's hut she has a TV and a pool. Luxury!
Xavier created a tree hut with a water slide!
Aw this is so cool Tyson came home telling me all about it and took a photo of his real hut we have here at home he wants me to send it through I'll send it tonight
ReplyDeleteHi Te Putake, we really liked all your illustrations on Explain Everything. You are so clever at using digital technology. Ka pai to mahi! 👌👍😎
ReplyDeleteMālo Te Putake Whanau. We are Rūma 2 at Hornby Primary School, and we are your Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu blog buddies. We love your hut designs. They are very creative and all very different. We would love to build them for real! Did you read about huts or have some other reason to design them? We are going to try this activity too sometime in our class. Ngā mihi for sharing your learning with us.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Rūma 2, we have been learning through play and we thought making huts would be really cool! We have been making huts digitally and also through dance. We will post a video of our dance soon.
DeleteWow thanks, that would be great. We would love to try that!
DeleteWe like your amazing huts. We really like your sentences when you shared about your huts. We also liked the hut with the sloth and the waterslides. We liked Xavier's hut with the waterslides as it looks fun. It is also a great different way to jump onto the tramp to get into the house. The treehouse with the quitar man is a great tree house. We like how you added your ideas in details to show us on your pictures and making them on EE. We also like the different colours. These pictures have made me felt good when we read your lines. We liked how you have used your imagination to create your huts. Having food is always a great idea. How did you draw your pictures? How did you guys create your hut and put the pink dot inside? How did you share EE onto the screen? How did you make up your own story?

Hello Takiritia Toru, we used lots of different tools to create our huts, like the pencil, pen and ruler. Some of us inserted pictures into them too! We have an apple tv so it is easy for us to use screen mirroring to show our EE screen on the TV. Our teacher asked us to create our dream hut so we could do anything our hearts desired!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool Te Putake
